Monika is a well-known author and women´s health profile in Sweden. She has worked with within the exercise- and health field for +30 years. Monika has a B.Sc in Sports Science / Psychology and has educated thousands of fitness professionals over the years both nationally and internationally. She has published three books, of which the last one, “Strong 50+, hormones, sleep, diet & exercise” was nominated ”Non-fiction book of the year” 2021 in Sweden. In recent years Monika has become a prominent woman´s health advocate lecturing about the subject for the likes of IKEA, Tetra Pak, Astra Zeneca, RISE, Stena AB, Wellspect, Volvo Cars, Volvo AB, Lindex, Visma, PEAB, numerous municipalities amongst others. Monika has certified over 1000 Strong throughout Menopause-coaches to spread knowledge and awareness about the menopause, and well over 20.000 people have listened to her lectures in the last few years.

A gynecology and obstetrics specialist with 20 years of experience, this professional boasts a deep understanding of health system management and healthcare delivery challenges, thanks to a Master’s in Public Health Administration. This advanced education has equipped them with innovative strategies to tackle these challenges head-on. Their career is deeply entrenched in gynecology, covering extensive clinical practice and research. A notable focus area has been on physical activity during childbirth and pelvic floor surgery, aiming at innovative solutions for childbirth-related injuries, including the integration of robotics and AI in patient care. Inês is a Lecturer and behavioral intervention scientist, specialized in the application of third-wave Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and compassion-based therapy). She is the Research Leader of the EMBRACE Lab and Principal Investigator of clinical trials of evidence-based face-to-face or digital interventions for populations with health conditions (such as women with breast cancer or irritable bowel syndrome). Her research also relates to the determinants of psychological and physical health/illness. She is an Associate Editor for the British Journal of Health Psychology and has received a number of scientific awards over the last ten years, including the 2021 Outstanding New Investigator Award by the International Society of Behavioral Medicine. Inês has published over 70 scientific papers in international journals and has been an advocate for the implementation of biopsychosocial healthcare practices in several countries.

Deepa has 19 years’ experience in IT industry and 5 years into Teaching. She has been with Microsoft UK Innovation team since 2.5 years, where she has lead Apps & AI Architect in Pharma space. Before, she used to lead a team of Lowcode/Nocode Architects in UK in until the last few months. Deepa helps customers succeed with modernising and fusing intelligence in their apps with various services spanning from procode to lowcode. Her forte is Fusion Development which means mixing and matching procode and lowcode technologies to find the best possible solution for a customer problem. Prior to Microsoft, she was heading Applications, Business Intelligence & Information Management space at Tullow Oil which is an Upstream Oil & Gas organisation focused on Africa & South America. She has 11 years of experience with this sector. Her career started as an algorithm developer for an organisation in India where she spent 5 years in Product Development space as a Technical Architect before moving to UK 14 years ago. She has 5 years of experience as Science & Maths Tutor in Mumbai, India. This gave her further opportunity to stay closer to her passion for Science, especially Physics. She is very passionate about Quantum Physics and Computing.

Hanna is a Health Economist by background and is currently working as a Demand Planner for AstraZeneca. Her bachelor thesis had a gender perspective and looked into mother’s literacy and the impact it has on their children’s health, and her master thesis focused on eHealth policy in the EU. Hanna has been active in the Swedish Women’s Movement for years and currently sits on the board of the Swedish Women’s Lobby as well as Forum Jämställdhet – the biggest conference on gender equality in Sweden. Her knowledge about Women’s rights and gender mainstreaming spans across different aspects of women’s lives. She has published a guide “Sex, makt, och skolan” that supports the Student health services work against sexual harassment in schools. Hanna is passionate about improving women’s health and closing the gender health gap.

Siddhartha is a tech entrepreneur with background in robotics and wearable technology. He founded Walkbeat to help people with mobility disorders and took his ground breaking innovation in gait analysis to market in Sweden and USA. Named top 100 innovators by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, he has received many global awards for his entrepreneurial drive and innovation at SLUSH, VentureCup and Företagarna, to name a few. During his PhD, Siddhartha created & publicly released one of world’s first real world gait databases that is used by 350+ universities and R&D institutions across the globe including Harvard, MIT and Imperial College London.

Ehsan is a clinician-scientist with 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice, academia, and the life science industry. He completed his MD in Iran before pursuing postgraduate training as a Clinical Research Fellow in endocrinology and obtaining a Ph.D. in obesity in Singapore. During this time, his research interests were cantered on investigating ethnic disparities in the interplay between adiposity and insulin resistance, and immune-metabolic perturbation associated with obesity. His later professional expertise encompasses the design and implementation of clinical studies aimed at preventing and managing cardiometabolic diseases, acquired through his tenure in R&D positions at Nestlé, Novo Nordisk, and AstraZeneca. Currently, he serves as a study physician in late-stage cardiovascular, renal, and metabolism clinical development at the R&D hub of AstraZeneca in Gothenburg. In his present capacity, he contributes to the conceptualization, execution, and dissemination of clinical trials for the management of cardiovascular diseases. Ehsan has lived and worked in various countries, including Iran, Australia, Singapore, Denmark, and most recently Sweden. Throughout these experiences, he has accrued considerable expertise in navigating diverse business cultures. Having travelled through more than 35 countries and worked extensively with international stakeholders from different corners of the world, he possesses a profound comprehension of diversity and inclusion and appreciates its significance within the corporate environment. In 2012, she was promoted to Senior Director, Clinical Research, where she has played a pivotal role in regulatory work, including multiple submissions and advisory committee meetings. Prior to her tenure at Astra Zeneca, Elise served as an Endocrinologist at Lancaster General Medical Group, where she specialized in treating adult patients for a wide range of endocrinology conditions. Christopher Innocenti is a Deep Learning Engineer at AstraZeneca. During his day to day he normally work in medical imaging within the domain of Oncology, where he and the rest of the team develop tools and solutions for their scientific stakeholders to aid them in their discovery and decision-making process. He has worked in the field of Machine Learning/AI for the past 8 years, and he is still as, if not more, excited about the advancements! From automatic control, self-driving cars to cell structures and patient responses, the areas where he has seen AI applied makes him optimistic that they are building a future where we all can benefit from this technology. In his spare time, he likes to go out on walk or runs to enjoy the great scenery of nature, watch chemistry or physics videos on youtube, or maybe play a game or two with friends. He is also a big car enthusiast, and he tries to sneak in a ride whenever he can!

Mark is a Solution Architect in R&D Data, analytics and AI. He is currently Omics Platform Architect with a vision to catalyse discovery and innovation by providing resilient, reusable, self-serve data and AI products, and a path to scale solutions from concept to production. He is also Solution Architect for the AI In Biologics Engineering initiative, currently providing architecture support and establishing MLOps best practices for MLAB. This project embeds ML/AI in the Biologics Discovery process by implementing and automating ML model pipelines to rank screening hits, predict protein structures and perform in-silico assays, with the aim to significantly reduce Lead Generation/Lead Optimisation timelines. This uses multiple ML Models across GenAI, Deep Learning and other supervised learning techniques.
